CONCORD – Marsy’s Law for NH announced today the support of Tom Raffio, President, and CEO of Northeast Delta Dental, the Concord-based dental insurance company that administers dental benefits to more than 876,000 people in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. Marsy’s Law is a constitutional amendment that would establish meaningful, enforceable rights for crime victims in New Hampshire’s state constitution.

In addition to working at Northeast Delta Dental, Mr. Raffio is an engaged civic leader, serving on several non-profit Boards of Directors in New Hampshire. He released the following statement regarding his support of Marsy’s Law:

“While our professional focus at Northeast Delta Dental is oral health, we recognize that the health and well-being of the whole person is a critical component to maintaining healthy, safe communities. That is why it is so important for our legislators to pass CACR 22, or Marsy's Law, and send it to the ballot in November. Every citizen of our state deserves to be treated with dignity and respect within the criminal justice system. Victims deserve to be safe and to have rights that are on an even playing field to the accused. The only way to assure a balanced system with meaningful, enforceable rights for all is to enshrine rights for crime victims within our state's constitution."
